Digital Accessibility Testing Specialist – Screen Reader User Perspective (Android System)
Kraków, remote
We are looking for a person with visual impairment who uses the Android system to join our team as a digital accessibility testing specialist from the perspective of an end user. We are seeking someone who can complement our competencies in testing accessibility on Android devices by conducting exploratory testing and creating reports based on real experiences of a person with visual impairment.
Responsibilities
Exploratory testing of mobile application accessibility (Android) from the perspective of a daily screen reader user
Testing website accessibility on desktop computers
Preparing detailed reports describing real digital user experiences
Evaluating accessibility solutions and suggesting better alternatives
Conducting digital accessibility training sessions with demonstrations on computers and Android devices
Collaborating with the technical team to implement recommendations
Using MS Office, especially Excel, for creating reports
Requirements
Required:
Experience in using the Android system daily with screen readers
Proficient knowledge of assistive technologies on Android (TalkBack and others)
General understanding of digital accessibility standards and principles
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
Ability to prepare detailed reports documenting user experiences
Willingness to travel to Kraków periodically (e.g., for training)
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Nice to have:
Experience in delivering training or presentations
Experience in usability testing of mobile applications and websites
Familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines
Experience in conducting exploratory testing
Knowledge of English
